February 2010
It's been a little while. I guess it's time to report what we have going on.
TJ, Mark, and I have been writing as a three piece for the past few months since Samantha's departure, although the material does not really sound anything like Kingsbury. We have this instance gratification approach to writing these days. The songs are instrumental, immediate, and have more weight. You may hear them one day. You may not.
The reality is Kingsbury is on an indefinite hiatus. It makes me sad to say that, but we all need some fresh scenery and perspective, and we may not all end up in the same place. I am moving to New York for a fantastic new job, TJ is busy with school here in Orlando, and Mark is seeking to relocate to Washington DC.
I refuse to say we are totally done with Kingsbury, because the people involved are so important to me. The point of Kingsbury from the start was to have an outlet for my songwriting, and have my best friends apart of the process. If I start writing new material again, they are the first people I will call to be on the record. It's just hard to know now what sort of projects we will be involved with this time next year.
The website will remain active, and anytime I have anything to report I will. You can still download our entire catalog, and it will remain that way. So stay on the mailing list.
We are liquating the rest of our merchandise. We have two white t-shirts left in youth large, six girl shirts left in medium, and five large. We also have a bunch of buttons, stickers, and posters. If you want any of it, make a donation on our website so we can get it out of TJ's garage. We recommend $5 for a shirt, and $2 for a stickers, buttons, or posters. But whatever you can send, even if it's just postage, we'll hook you up.
We'll keep you updated as things progress, but expect the updates to be slow as we all find out where we land. Thanks.
Bruce

August 2009
We finished two new songs with in-studio video. We're calling the video and songs "Sugarwood", and you can download the songs here, and view the video here. Enjoy.
July 2009
I4 fest is this Saturday, July 4th at Austin's in Winter Park. We play at 8ish, and it will be Samantha's last show with us. We're super sad about it, we love her very much, but she's moving to Washington D.C. to be hugely successful in college. So please come out to see her one last time in Kingsbury.
As for Mark, TJ, and I, we'll be locking ourselves in the studio until future notice. Don't worry, we're not done. Just a little delayed.
We recorded an in-studio video, featuring two unreleased and unnamed tracks. We'll post both the audio and the video as soon as we finish it. Look for that in the next few weeks.
That's all for now. We'll be filming this weekend at I4 fest, so come out.

December 2008
Happy Holidays! We got you a present! It's a new song called "Listen Perform and Show" and you can download it here. We started working on this track while recording some of the other songs that appeared on "Lie To Me", and we finished it up a few days ago. It's feels very electronic by comparison to most of our other recordings. We're all pretty happy with the results.
In other news, we posted pictures from our Florida tour with Woven here. You can also find more pictures on our photobucket and myspace pages. Thanks to everybody who came out. The shows went great. I would post video, but our video camera broke somewhere along the way, and all the footage is ruined. It's the season for giving, so if you want to donate to us because we're so rad, we'll buy ourselves a new camera and keep the new video coming.
That's all for now. Tell your friends, enjoy the holidays and thanks for the support!
